Umpires Wanted!
Each year the club looks to recruit new umpires. This is an opportunity to see the game from a different position (near first base or behind the plate). It's a game requirement of Junior Baseball that the home team supplies the main umpire. Comets policy is to train and utilize junior players. You must be 15 years of age, or 13 to 14 (with supervision) for this task. The club supplies the necessary equipment and training. If you think you would like to have a go at umpiring, please contact the Umpires Co-ordinator or let one of the club executive know. Qualified courses are available and the club encourages anyone interested to attend these and become accredited. If we can get together enough people this course can be held at our club.
