Well done to the following players who made the CSJBA (Cronulla Sutherland Junior Baseball Association) rep. sides for the Summer Comp.:

The above players have been selected to represent the 11 clubs of the CSJBA. The representative teams play against other Associations affiliated with Baseball NSW.

The teams are divided into three age groups...U12, U14 & U16. Each of these divisions have two sides. For U12 & U14 there is a State Cup side, which plays every second Sunday and a Development Squad side which plays 4 or 5 days (with a number of double headers, against the same teams. In the U16 there is a Youth League side, which plays every Sunday as well as a Development Squad side.

The CSJBA were the champions of the NSW League in 2004-5, winning the Brother Lambert trophy.

Not only is an honour to be picked to represent the Association, it also provides players with more specialised (and expert) coaching which is not always available at the club level.

For those who may not have heard of the program or are not in it this year, nominations are taken around March, April each year with selections taking place soon after.
