From Club to Country and beyond

So how do our children move through the ranks of baseball?

In keeping with the clubs Mission, club officials work throughout the season monitoring our children's baseball development, discussing both personal and team performance.

Each season (around March/April) the CSJBA request each club in the association to seek players for a number teams:

Players train in development squads during the off season and the teams train and play throughout the summer season.  Their games are on a Sunday.  The draw, results etc. are available on the CSJBA web site library.

A number of players from the Comets were selected this year for the CSJBA rep sides.

From here their development and coaching is monitored by the association and Baseball NSW.

However, this not the only development path that can be taken.  Lauren McGrath (U16/3) was selected this year as a player in the NSW Women's Baseball side.
